BEAUTY AND THE BEAST returns to theatres for the first time in 3D on January 13th!Beauty and the Beast Review

Walt Disney Animation Studios’ magical classic “Beauty and the Beast” returns to the big screen in Disney Digital 3D™, introducing a whole new generation to the Disney classic with stunning new 3D imagery. The film captures the fantastic journey of Belle (voice of Paige O’Hara), a bright and beautiful young woman who’s taken prisoner by a hideous beast (voice of Robby Benson) in his castle. Despite her precarious situation, Belle befriends the castle’s enchanted staff—a teapot, a candelabra and a mantel clock, among others—and ultimately learns to see beneath the Beast’s exterior to discover the heart and soul of a prince.

Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorite Disney movies of all times. I am excited to say that my daughter loves it now too! So this is one that we watch pretty often. My son even likes it. I think he enjoys the beast and the talking characters in the house.

So when I heard that it was coming to the big screen I could not get tickets fast enough! I waited to “the day” to tell her about it. She had seen the commercials on the Disney channel and was already talking about it. So as you can imagine she was so excited! We made it a daughter and mom day.

I am so happy to say that this movie did NOT disappoint! The colors were very vibrant and crisp. The 3d features were great. There were more 3d animations that the other Disney re-releases that we have seen in theaters. This made me feel ok about spending the money that 3d movies costs!

So YES Beauty and the Beast 3d is a MUST SEE! It is a wonderful mom and daughter date movie!

We also loved the super cute Tangled Ever After “The Rings” Mini Movie that proceeded the movie. It was so funny and was the perfect mini sequel to the Tangled Movie.
