Dark Mode Off / On

When was the last time you and your girlfriends spent real time together? I am talking about quality time without kids, husbands and errands to do. For me it has been way too long! I have missed spending time with the ladies in my family. These ladies are special and deserved something spectacular. I found some creative and cheap spa party ideas to create a perfect spa party! It was so much fun that I had to share it with you!

I started out the day by taking a trip to Sam’s Club. It is one of my favorite stores to shop at. You can see why here. I found a twin pack of NIVEA lotion. I am a huge fan of NIVEA and so I knew this was a great bargain! That sparked the idea of making individual bottles of lotion for each lady using these large bottles of NIVEA. NIVEA has always been at the top of my list of lotions. It goes on so smooth and does not leave a greasy feeling. The smell is delightful. That is exactly what my ladies deserved!

While at Sam’s Club I also picked up some fabulous “grown up” snacks including bruschetta,  deli spirals, baked chips, brownies and pink sparkling wine. These are things we rarely have thanks to our kids so they were perfect for the spa party!

We had the party at my mom’s house as it is much bigger than mine. She was just as excited as I was about this spa party! She had lots of awesome spa party ideas! We used folding chairs and covered with animal print throws for softness. Then to add a touch of glam we tied pink tulle around each chair. All of those were items we already had on hand. It was perfect! (You can use a theme that you have around your house to do the same thing!)

We set up little side tables from other parts of the house about every other chair. This was perfect for setting drinks and snacks on with out having to get up. We sat all the chairs in a circle. My sister in law and I sat between two tables and you can see that we had LOTS of laughs!

We added lamps from other parts of the house and turned off the main lights. This added a cozy and intimate feel. You could not help but relax! We used our fancy serving trays to serve the “grown up” snacks. And served juice and wine in sparkling wine glasses.

My fabulous mom did not stop there! She had a lady come and rub our feet for us. I can not tell you how amazing that was! We each had 30 minutes of quiet time with the masseuse rubbing our feet. AHHH It was heaven!

I had put together parting gifts for each of the ladies to use for the spa party and take home as a little reminder. Each guest was given a pair of flip flops for use while painting nails, cozy socks , monogrammed individual tissue packs , homemade chocolate body scrub and a little bottle of the NIVEA lotion. To make the small NIVEA bottles I used the large bottles from Sam’s Club. I filled up several little bottles that I got from Hobby Lobby for less than a dollar. Then topped it off with a little ribbon. You can see the breakdown of price and how I created the parting gifts here.

We finished off the night by painting nails and letting our feet soak in mini foot baths. Then finished it off with more NIVEA lotion.

The night was full of laughs and relaxation. It really was the perfect night! The women that I love so dearly in one room enjoying each other’s company, telling stories and just relaxing! I highly recommend doing this for the special ladies in your life. Take some time to relax, laugh and enjoy life!
