We were so excited to visit Greenstreet in Downtown Houston recently. We had a blast exploring and trying new things. If you are looking for a ideas for a date night or a day in downtown Houston be sure to check these out!

Caffe Bene

Drawing inspiration from the café culture typically found in Europe, Caffé Bene  provides a relaxing and inviting environment for guests and working professionals looking to take a break in the midst of a busy downtown. You immediately feel welcomed by the café’s cozy interior space which is accented by warm colors and soft lighting, creating an inviting atmosphere. They have a book case and tables set up to do some work while you enjoy your treats. They also have a beautiful open area outside where you can relax and enjoy. They often have live entertainment in GreenStreet’s open-air entertainment green space, The Lawn.

When we visited they were all out of bread! I was so bummed! I really wanted to try the Caramel Cinnamon Bread. It looks AMAZING! So Joel got a smoothie and I got a warm flavorful cup of coffee. Find out more here.

Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar

We cannot wait to visit Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar! I have wanted to experience the dueling pianos for some time now. While we were exploring the area time did not permit for us to visit that evening but the atmosphere looks so inviting. I can’t wait! Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar features live piano performances, along with a fun, interactive atmosphere for its patrons to enjoy. Over the course of 20 years, Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar has perfected the art of entertainment by featuring a great combination of seasoned veteran pianists and new talent. III Forks Steakhouse

III Forks Steakhouse offers the very best in fine dining at its only Houston location. House of Blues

We were unable to visit the House of Blues in Downtown Houston because it was sold out except for standing room only that night! They have an incredible line up of acts. House of Blues showcases a wide range of musical genres onstage, and the Restaurant and Bar, serves up an eclectic mix of sights, sounds and tastes. Find out more here.

AT&T SPORTSNET

Astros fans will love this one! https://southwest-attsn.att.com/ is the home of the Houston Rockets and Houston Astros. AT&T SPORTSNET is owned and operated by DIRECTV Sports Networks LLC, a subsidiary of DIRECTV. They were filming the Post Game Shop while we were there and it was so exciting to watch from outside the studio. The Screen where they watch the games will make you want a replica in your home! At least, Joel did!

Hotel Alessandra

We recently visited Hotel Alessandra and we knew from the moment we pulled up we were going to be treated like royalty. The valet service was easy and excellent service. They offered us refreshments as they helped us with our luggage and directed us to the check in desk. From the moment you enter the hotel you are transported! Our room was very spacious and the classic sophistication and modern luxury vibe the minute we walked in was undeniable. Our suite had a 5 star luxurious bedding with premium linens, lounge seating, marble-clad bathrooms, free-standing soaking tubs, walk-in showers with rainfall heads and an abundance of closet and storage space.
