Last week I shared my plan to eat healthier and lose weight. This week I decided to focus on my kids eating healthier. As a busy mom this is always a challenge! The quickest things to feed them are usually not the healthiest or healthy at all. I started looking for healthy options and discovered Kidfresh Frozen Foods. Since I am adding Lean Cuisine Frozen Meals to my daily diet to help me that is a perfect solution.
Just like before any purchase I checked for a coupon first and was so excited to find a $1 OFF Kidfresh Coupon! Their facebook page has this coupon available right now!
I was excited to visit our local Super Target and see a selection of 4 varieties of Kidfresh Foods. All of the options were meals that my kids would love. It looked like these frozen kid’s meals are very popular. One variety,Mac and Cheese , was completely sold out and I got the last box of the Kidfresh Spaghetti Loops. My little man gave his approval of the 3 varieties that I did get: Easy Cheesy Ravioli , Spaghetti Loops and Cheesy Quesadillas. See the entire shopping adventure (including my stop for coffee) here.
My timing was perfect because as always today was a very busy day! I decided to have a Lean Cuisine for dinner. Tonight instead of looking for chips and a sandwich or fries and a burger I pulled out a KidFresh Frozen Meal. The meals are super easy to prepare as they only require being opened and popped in the microwave. It doesn’t get easier than that! When they little guys saw the boxes and I asked them to choose the one they wanted I saw fireworks! KidFresh did a great job of packaging because these kids took one look and jumped for joy!
It worked! This is a magical meal! My kids were loving it and had no idea that it was good for them. I LOVE that! I can’t count the number of I have put vegetables, grilled meat and other healthy items on the table only to have it pushed away. KidFresh has done it! They created something that kids love and is also good for them! This is a blessing for busy moms like me!
What did they think?
Little Man: He doesn’t say much but he had a huge smile and I heard a ummmm!
Little Diva: “Wow Mommy that was good! You should make this every night!”
Mom: YEAH!!
