Having fun with family and friends doesn’t have to break the bank. At the family owned and operated Schlitterbahn, it is totally possible to have an affordable vacation. Schlitterbahn saves mom’s budget by offering free parking, free life jackets, and families can bring in an ice chest of food! Food prices are reasonable and healthy options abound. Here are some more money saving tips for Schlitterbahn.

Buy your season pass early! Buy your pass early while they have them on sale. Early bird pricing is the cheapest price all year. And if you already have a pass, renew it early for extra savings.
Two days are better than one. Two-day passes are the best deal if a season pass doesn’t make sense for you. The two-day passes don’t have to be used on consecutive days and given how much there is to do at Schlitterbahn, you’ll need another day to take advantage of the fun!

So what should you pack for your trip to Schlitterbahn Corpus Christi Riverpark?
Pack your Towels. You can rent a locker to store your bags for $10 OR you can pick a table and leave your stuff while you play.
Pack your sunscreen. If you forget you can purchase some at the shops. This is essential for the whole family!
Bring your lunch. You can bring your own food and drinks (no glass or alcohol) in your own cooler, so pack for the day. Fill your cooler with drinks and snacks like we did. Please note:
- No glass
- bring a cooler on wheels if possible
- snacks
- No alcohol
Here is what we packed in our cooler:
FREE Lifejackets: No need to pack floaties. Schlitterbahn has free life vests for infants, children, and adults located all throughout the park.
Waterproof Camera of Camera Case: You will want to catch every moment on film. Don’t risk ruining your phone or camera. You can purchase a waterproof camera at the shops. OR purchase a waterproof phone case like I did before the trip. This is the waterproof case that I used on our trip.
Free Tubes all over the park.
Forget the cash, get a wristband. This saves us so much worry! We gave our cash to the people at Guest Services and they loaded it onto a wristband. You can use this to make a purchase in the park. Didn’t spend it all? No problem. Stop back by and get the rest refunded to you.
Come Early: Get to park early and be the first in and claim a table near the kids’ area that best suits your child. Trust me, the tables go fast! 
Shoes: The ground gets very hot. Avoid carrying your child all day by coming prepared. Water shoes or flip flops are allowed. But you may have to hold them while you ride some of the slides. Shoes are required on some rides. These are the water shoes I bought.
