Food! Food is a huge part of vacation. You have to have it. But the fun part is trying new things! While visiting Daytona Beach this summer we were able to try some fun new places to eat. Here are 4 family friendly places to eat in Daytona Beach Florida.

Azure

There are several options for dining at the Shores Resort and Spa. One night we enjoyed Chef’s favorites at the Azure Oceanfront American Kitchen, a fine dining restaurant in Daytona Beach. They offer  ocean-inspired cuisine artfully infused with regional flavors and a pinch of fun. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week, Azure features elegant indoor dining that is bright, blue and sun washed by day and romantic and reflective by moonlight. Beachfront dining is also offered on our elevated outdoor terrace, overlooking the resort’s pools and the sparkling Daytona Beach ocean. Here are some of our favorites from our dinner at Azure.

The Cracked Egg

The Cracked Egg Diner has the best breakfast and lunch on A1A in Daytona Beach. Locals and visitors have long appreciated this little restaurant on the south end of  Daytona Beach Shores. They serve delicious breakfasts, homemade soups, and fantastic hot or cold sandwiches.

The Boondocks

Nestled along the Halifax River lies the quaint little waterfront restaurant and bar know as Boondocks… somewhere in Wilbur-By-The-Sea. This hidden gem is well known among locals and visitors as the best place to eat great food, drink and watch the sunset! I enjoyed peel and eat shrimp. Afterwards we fed our leftover fries to the catfish off the dock.

Sweet Marlay’s Coffee

If you are looking for a morning or afternoon pick me up, Sweet Marlay’s is the place to go! They offer a variety of drinks, not just coffee. But the Beach Day Latte is amazing! There is a warm and cozy environment to enjoy your drink or sweets.
