This month is National American Red Cross month. What does that have to do with dating? It can have a lot to do with it if you get creative. I can’t think of a better date than one that combines community service with a little love. Try some of these for starters…
1. Donate blood together.
2. Go shopping together for goods you can donate.
3. Volunteer at the American Red cross together.
Sometimes the best dates my hubby and I have are the ones where its really not about us at all but others. There is something about serving together that stirs up a renewed passion for your lovey.
Don’t have a date? Consider going alone. You never know…something amazing could come from all of it. Take a look at this story if you need some inspiration–Dick and Sara met at the Red Cross and were married for more than 50 years!

very interesting date ideas and a neat way to bring awareness.
What an awesome idea. I have a terminally ill grandson and know that so many of our blood banks lack blood. We personnally donate to match what we use for him in surgery, so they need all the blood they can get.
These are some great ideas!
love donating blood together!
