College Station is one of my favorite places and so dear to my heart. Since it is the home of Texas A&M, I spent lots of time in College Station. We visited College Station this year and it was so much fun! Whether a College Student, Parent, Kid, of Family you will love this little Texas town!

Where is College Station?
College Station is situated in East-Central Texas in the heart of the Brazos Valley, in the center of the region known as Texas Triangle. College Station is home to the main campus of Texas A&M University.
Cool fact about College Station.
Due largely to the presence of Texas A&M University, College Station was named by Money magazine in 2006 as the most educated city in Texas, and the 11th-most educated city in the United States.
How far is College Station from Houston?
It is 90 miles northwest of Houston and 87 miles northeast of Austin. About an hour and half drive from downtown Houston.

College Station is a fun college town with great food options! Some of my favorites are:
FreeBirds where they serve amazing burritos.
The Dixie Chicken serves lots of wonderful options and is a town favorite. They have pool tables and offer games to play while you wait.

See the Bonfire Memorial
See a Softball game at Davis Field or Baseball game at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park.
See a Football game at Kyle Field.
If you visit during the winer stop by Santa’s Wonderland.
Visit the George Bush Presidential Library
Visit the burial site of President George Bush and Barbara Bush.
Visit the Museum of the American G.I. This is a living history museum dedicated to preserving the equipment, uniforms and memories of all American Servicemen and women.
Visit Peach Creek Vineyards for a wine tasting.
