Anyone with kids knows and loves Madagascar! This movie has been played over and over at our house! You are probably singing the song right now–
I like to move it, move it!
Well did you know they have a Madagascar LIVE TOUR going on right now? We were so excited to see this in our local magazine!
They were coming to Houston in February! So you can imagine how excited I was when we were given the oppertunity to go see it! I was so excited and then I got to tell my 4 year old. She was over the moon! We had 4 tickets and decided we had to take My sister-in-law and my 2 year old niece. When I called to tell them the news they were doing a “happy dance” too!
February 12,2011 at the Hobby Center we were there and these 2 little girls were beyond excited! They were all dolled up and ready to “move it”!
All the kids were given those CUTE glasses that definatly helped but us in the mood. Then just when we thought things couldn’t get better we realized where our seats were…THE FORTH ROW!! Let the show begin!
Unforchantly there were no photos or videos allowed during the show. But I can assure you the show was AMAZING! Each of the characters was just as funny and entertaining as they are on film. Our personal favorite was Gloria the Hippo! Our her attitude was awesome! But Madagascar would not be Madagascar without our friend Alex. Alex and Marty start out the show about being “bestest friends”. (Yes I said “bestest”) Marty has a birthday and he feels like his life is not complete. He wants to get out and see the world. Well when his friends discover that he has left they do what all good friends would, they go after him. The entire show is what happens after that. They go on a journey and in the end realize all they need is each other.
I have to say our favorite part was the audience participation near the end. I do not want to give it away but adults and kids were all on their feet. It was incredible! A must see for sure!
I am excited to share with you this great coupon for Madagascar Live! A coupon for $20 Tickets. Here is a list of cities they still have to visit. If there is one near you I highly suggest you grab your little ones and head to the show. For more information you can visit the Madagascar Live Official Site.
Madagascar Live is a show you don’t want to miss. This is a family friendly show that will have you laughing from the moment you get there until you get home (maybe longer).
