What do you eat on Nutrisystem Fast 5?

This portion of the system has been the hardest for me. It is a HUGE change from my previous way of eating. But after the second day I found I was craving less junk and was less hungry. I had to remind myself to eat! Here is a look at a daily menu:

Nutrisystem Fast 5 Breakfast Chocolate Muffin

  • Breakfast: Nutrisystem Entree (LOVE the muffins) & Coffee with low fat creamer
  • Snack: 1 EnergiZING™shake (I add some ice cubes and make it in my blender) & bell pepper snacks.
  • Lunch: Nutrisystem Entree (So many yummy things to choose from) I like the chocolate bars with a HUGE spinach salad with bell pepper, cherry tomatoes and some seasoning. OR you can have an entree like the Kung Pao Noodles. Nutrisystem Fast 5 FoodEat it as a soup with a side salad or add it to your salad. Crazy, but yummy!
  • Snack: 1 Craving Crusher™shake & steamed carrots or roasted green beans.
  • Dinner: Nutrisystem Entree and salad
  • Drink: LOTS of water. You can also still enjoy your favorite diet soda or calorie free drinks. YAY!

  1. I received nutrisystem 28 day w/ fast five. I tried to follow the food plan however I ended up throwing most of my ‘shelf’ entrees away after taking a bite or two. The food( to me) was terrible – excluding the breakfast and shakes). I lived off boiled eggs and salad most of the week. I wish the 1st week entree food had been frozen, but overall I think you get way too much sugar on the standard plan. I will try to give away the rest of the NS food since I have now developed a gag reflex to NS food. Btw went back on Atkins and lost. 5lbs the first week eating 100% fresh whole. Foods.

    1. My third day on Fast 5…lost about 1.5lbs… Food isn’t great (C’mon it’s a diet) I guess I didnt expect it to be gourmet,so it is fine for me. I do think the food needs fresh herbs, seasoning and vegetables added to make it taste better. I actually had the flatbread pizza and love it. I added olives and onions and cooked it in the oven for a minute over their recommended 5 minutes. Ate it with garlic broccoli YUM. So far my only complaint really would be they need to ease up on the sauces ..Too soupy for me and also have the mashed potatoes in a separate compartment from the meatloaf in the heating tray so it doesn’t mix and turn to brown mush. Over all very satisfied…I think along with my exercising I will be able to reach my goal weight.

  2. Nutrisystem is great! You need to follow it in order to lose weight, people!!!! LOL! It is easy, but of course you don’t get a lot to eat. It’s a diet and you are trying to lose weight!! Eat your veggies and drink your water! YOU WILL LOSE WEIGHT!

  3. On my 1st day and so far I do not like the food. It is very salty, will try one more day, however I’m ready to send it all back!!! Where is the frozen foods they show
    on TV!!!
