A few weeks back we were excited to visit Downtown Houston and celebrate our 16 year anniversary of our proposal! We took to the streets of GreenStreet in Downtown Houston. We spent our weekend at Hotel Alessandra surrounded by luxury and sophistication! We were excited to get dressed up one night and walked right out the door, a few steps away we were at our new favorite restaurant!
III Forks Steakhouse quickly made the top of our favorite date night ideas and favorite dining list! If you are looking for elegance, fine dining, and something very special, you will want to visit III Forks Steakhouse. I am excited to share our experience with you! 
III Forks Steakhouse offers the very best in fine dining at its only Houston location. When you enter, the foyer welcomes you with an array of over 1,500 fine wines from the spectacular glass wine room. III Forks Steakhouse embodies the Best of the American Steakhouse. The finest USDA Prime steak, mouthwatering, buttery lobster and ocean-fresh seafood are prepared to perfection, exact to order. We were impressed by the long list of wines, steak, and seafood. Joel was very excited about the variety and quality of steaks that they offer. You can see the full menu for III Forks Steakhouse here. The steak list includes USDA Prime Bone In Ribeye, Filet Mignon, USDA Prime New York Strip, USDA Prime Flat Iron, Tomahawk Ribeye, and more! They offer a full list of salads and seafood. If you prefer classics like Chicken and Burgers, they have those too! Be sure to ask about the daily specials that are not on the menu! They had some amazing specials the night we visited.
We started out the night with some melt in your mouth bread and butter.
Joel got the 22 oz USDA Prime Boneless Ribeye and was very happy with it. It was perfectly medium rare and melted in your mouth!
I oredered the USDA Prime Flat Iron on a bed of mashed potatoes. Mine was well done and full of flavor! It had a little gravy along the top that finished it off. AMAZING!
We also shared a side of Six Cheese Potatoes. If you visit you must try this! The sides are big enough for two people to share!
I wish we could have tried dessert but we were so full from dinner!
The atmosphere is so romantic! It is quiet and no distractions.
The service is what will make you want to keep coming back! The servers came and wiped down our table between each course and we felt so special. The drinks never went empty. The entire staff that we had contact with was so professional and kind. They really tried to make us feel special. A huge shout out to our servers for making our night so special!
They also have a beautiful Piano Bar area. The atmosphere at the bar and lounge make III Forks an excellent place for sipping that perfectly chilled martini or any other drink from their extensive drink list.
