Are you in the wrong relationship? These signs might tell you

In our lives, people come and go. But when you think you’ve found the person you want to spend the rest of your life with, nothing else seems to matter. There’s nothing more exciting and exhilarating than a budding relationship. You get to share plenty of firsts and wonderful experiences together too. But when the rose-tinted glasses begin to fade, it can leave us asking all kinds of questions…

Is this really the person I want to spend the rest of my life with? Some simple issues we can certainly overlook, such as dirty dishes left in the sink or muddy shoes being marched through the house…but what about the feelings you can’t ignore? Those little niggles that tell you something isn’t quite right…

It’s not always easy to put your finger on what it is, which is why I’ve gathered together some simple signs that might connect with those doubts that are plaguing your relationship. Read on to find out more.

Your spirit guide is trying to warn you

When people are struggling with relationship doubts, it may surprise you to hear that many turn to psychics, mediums and their spirit guides as a way to obtain advice and guidance. For example, the gifted individuals at mediumchat.com can help you connect with your spirit guides, provide readings and spiritual experiences that will bring clarity to your situation and what might be in store for you, romantically or elsewhere. It’s certainly an exciting experience that might just provide the answers you’re looking for.

You have to defend them all the time.

It’s a fact that not everyone will like your partner as much as you do. Even if they’re perfectly pleasant and you don’t have any doubts at all, you’ll still find certain friends are jealous or simply cannot warm to them. However, if there is a shared feeling of discomfort, uncertainty and dislike amongst your family and friends then you shouldn’t bury your head in the sand.

If you find yourself defending your new partner’s poor behaviour, making excuses for them, or worrying about what your parents think all the time, then the issue could be with your new beau. This kind of situation can ultimately lead to isolation from your friends and family, which could be your partners’ intention.  If this is the case, jump ship now

They’re always criticising you.

If constant put-downs or carefully worded critiques are something you have to deal with daily, then you’re in the wrong relationship. “Your new haircut is great, it doesn’t make your face look as fat!” Is an example of a veiled critique that you shouldn’t ignore. Or perhaps they’re critical of your education or they’re constantly comparing you to ex-partners or the partners of their friends, then you shouldn’t brush it off. If you find your confidence is being slowly chipped away and your self-esteem is being directly impacted by these kinds of comments then don’t ignore it!

And finally, you don’t have any “you” time.

A new relationship is great! But you still need time to unwind and enjoy your own company. If you’re not mutually comfortable with how much time you’re spending together then it may be time to move on!
