Today I am sharing a fun DIY Wall Art idea for kids. This project is cheap and easy and great for all ages!
My daughter had this great idea to turn a shoe box into DIY wall art this weekend. It was brilliant! We had all the supplies we needed here at the house. So this was a fun way to spend the beautiful day outside and getting crafty. This DIY wall art is great for kids. Let them have fun and creates something beautiful for your walls.
Supplies:
- Paint like this
- Foam brushes like these
- 1 shoe box lid – We cut the lid off of a Nike Box.
To create this DIY Wall Art you want to paint the shoe box lid all over to completely cover. You may need 2 coats. Let dry.
Take tape and create a chevron design. Simply make small V shapes and connect the tape end to end.
Pick your color and decide which order you would like. We chose purple and blue.
Paint between the tape lines. It is ok if you paint the tape, that will come right off.
Let dry.
Slowly and carefully pull the tape off.
Add scrabble letters to create any word you would like. We used Elmer’s glue to attach the word FAITH.
Let dry over night.
Place on the wall and enjoy!
